The Earth Load dialog for this load case is modified from that the one available under regular pier design module. Select the generate dialog to open the earth load generation dialog and input the soil properties, i.e., unit weight of soil gamma and earth-pressure coefficient, Ka.

Pressure is calculated using ka*r*H at the bottom of the pile cap. The magnitude (Mag1) of the auto-generated EH load at the bottom of pile cap is calculated as Pressure*(abutment length), which acts at the middle of the length along the cap. The magnitude (Mag2) of the auto-generated EH load at the top of backwall is 0.
